We, Daisekkei sake brewing Co. Ltd., is located in Azumino region in Nagano where there are many beautiful country sight you can't imagine. There are a lots of rice fields and they grow by pure water running from the mountains, the North Japan Alps. Our sake is made of Azunimo bland rice and water from these mountains.

We've been loved by local people as well as many from outside of Nagano and also tourists from overseas.
Our brewery’s TOJI, Noboru Hosono, the person who has all the responsibility for making sake, (we call him "Oyaji-san") is carefully, respectfully looking after our Sake.

WATER
The North Japan Alps has located in central of main Island. These called Hida mountain range and rising over 3000m. There are Mount YARI and HOTAKA which is the third highest Mt. in Japan. So called "the roof of JAPAN" In winter we can enjoy Ski& Snowboard. Some high valleys keep eternal snow.

 

 

RICErice fields

 

Our brewery is located in the Hida mountains valley, called "Azumino region". There is a place suitable for making rice and also Japanese sake. Good soils and pure water from Alps makes great Quality of rice. And indeed, these rice and water affect sake taste and flavor.

Our brewery was established during the Meiji era, in 1898.Since then (a hundred year) we follow a tradition and make good taste of sake
The Showa era.(1953),we were awarded a  best prize of New sake contest.
And that year
we'd chosen for giving gifts to the emperor of Japan. Toji on that year were confer a decoration.
